D-Tect a Pole

	D-TECT A-POLE is an inexpensive instrument that provides a quick, surefire means of determining the polarity of an unknown magnetic field. Using linear hall effect technology, this instrument will unerringly determine magnetic poles and indicate the correct polarity of the north or south pole. It is extremely sensitive; capable of detecting magnetic fields from about 150 lines (24 Gauss) to 300 kilolines. The unit cannot be damaged by the strength of the field. Using the D-TECT A POLE is a quick and easy. Simply place the bottom end of the unit on or near an energized filed pole or magnet so that the arrow is aligned with the field and press the momentary switch button. the dual-colored LED lights up to indicate polarity of any field present. A green lights means a North pole is present; red, a South pole. No color means the absence of a magnetic field. To test the battery, hold the unit away from any field and press the button. If the LED lights green or red, replace the battery.
